DG VISITS IKORODU: LIONS OF REGION 4. DISTRICT 404A1 NIGERIA WELCOMES LION TOKUNBO AROMOLARAN PMJF NLCF (TOUR REVIEW) ~ INN Nigeria

It was a tour likened to that of a presidential courtesy Assignment, Parted in a two dimensional approach. One is to drive the vision of the club by aiding it’s leadership in Launching projects, While on the other hand Admonishing them to increase in their approach of serving humanity and securing new members.
This was indeed a summary to the nature of visitation graced upon the Region 4 District 404A1 Lions Club in Ikorodu as the District Governor, Lion Tokunbo Aromolaran PMJF NLCF touched down in Ikorodu on the 18th of September 2020 wasting no time as both his entourage (Cabinet members) headed straight to Ipakodo Community of Ikorodu where the host Club (Ipakodo Lions club) launched an enhanced hearing device to support the less privileged children in the community.
Also present at Ipakodo Primary School with the club was the Sekumade of Ipakodo, Oba Engr. Bashir Aremu Shotonwa who was firmly represented by his high chief Olutayo Sotomiwa the Olisa Of Ipakodo Kingdom.
The DG and the Olisa of Ipakodo also used the same medium to simultaneously showcased the Official welfare Bread which was produced by the Ikorodu Pioneer Virtual Lions Club for the Consumption of Participants in the program as the tour progressed.
As the DG moved from one place to the order to identify with the different projects so did the bread on day one of the District Governor’s visit.
Next was to create an awareness and safety to the residence of Solomade Estate which was the DG’s proxy stop as Ikorodu Golden Lions Club donated and erect a directional signage at Solomade Estate to meet the community need and for the safety the citizenry.
The District Governor, Lion Adetokunbo Aranmolaran, the District Governor of Lion District 404A1 Nigeria, who commissioned the project congratulate the whole community for been the beneficiary of this wonderful project and urge ikorodu Golden Lions Club to do more.
Strategic directional signage was also erected by the club at Owode-Ibeshe axis, Oluodo-Solebo axis and Ireta/Ofin-Baiyeku road in Ikorodu which was made possible by the club and subsequently seen by the DG.
“If more of these signs and directional posts are erected across Ikorodu region, there is not way our service will not ring bell to each Communities, Please let’s ensure we erect more of this post across” Lion Tokunbo Aromolaran PMJF NLCF added
Ikorodu Doyen Lions Club accomplished the renovation of the Gate House at the General Hospital Ikorodu, And thus was inspected and appraised by the DG as a symbolic sight for all personnels and patients of the General Hospital to access.
It should be noted that as the Inspection of the structure was going on, the Ikorodu Metro Lions club used the opportunity to create awareness on the children’s ward of the General Hospital on paediatric cancer and the need for parents to ensure early tests and check up.
The tour headed to the HIKANOS Foundation in Igbogbo, A home for the orphans where the Igbogbo Platinum Lions club donated food items to the children in the orphanage home.
The items where warmly received by the orphanage coordinator in-charge and the DG urged the Igbogbo Platinum Lions Club to ensure they pay the orphanage home frequent visits and give more food support to the children.
“If we say ‘where there is a need there is always a Lion’, Then we must ensure that we give these children steadfast good support to the point that whenever they don’t see us each passing month, They will ask ‘Where are the Lions'” Lion Tokunbo Aromolaran PMJF NLCF Stated
Ikorodu Diamond Lions during the Paediatric Cancer awareness, donated on request, according to the Community Needs Assessement, after the Project Coordinator, Lion Idowu Tomac visited the hospital, a Refrigerator and Water Dispenser to the Oncology Unit of Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
Lion Adetokunbo Aranmolaran, the District Governor of Lion District 404A1 Nigeria, who helped the Club presented the gifts to the Unit team, Appreciated the Club stating the support as one of the core Projects of Lions Club International, which is Paediatric Cancer.
“This support is very special to us, It will be drafted among our calender for 2020 top Accomplishments. And I wish to admonish our region 4 District 4040A1 platform to ensure that such health oriented assistance is majorly propelled in the course of every calender year. Alot of Individuals needs medical aid across the state & if the best way we can help is to provide such items then it should be paramount to every club” Lion Tokunbo Aromolaran PMJF NLCF (DG)
After the rigorous movement and support made by the club, The DG was hosted by the Region 4 District 404A1 Lions that evening at the residence of Mr Lawal PJMF NLCF.
At the interactive session and get together the DG admonished the leaders of the District to stand firm on recruiting new members and not let them go due to the lack of dues payment.
“Covid-19 Pandemic has done alot of havoc to our Economy and we know its not going to be easy for our members across. This is why we must work together and make it possible that we understand each other, let us be our brothers keeper and recover together” Lion Tokunbo Aromolaran PMJF NLCF
And interactive session was opened at the get together for members to ask questions that concerns them in driving their different clubs forward. (Day One Ends)
Day two kicked of at IMOTA LCDA IKORODU with the Eko Centennial Lions Club Supported the IMOTA Maternity Health Centre with Health Materials to cater for both pregnant mothers and ill patients alike.
From that support The President of Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions club ushered the amiable District Governor and his team in company of the gorgeous Region Chairperson to pay Royal homage to the custodian of Ikorodu traditions HRM Oba Mudashiru Ajibade Bakare-Agoro, The Ranodu of Imota Kingdom. However, the DG presented aesthetical plaque of outstanding recognition to the Royal Father and also decorated him as the second honourary member of Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club. A code of ethics was also formally Unveiled at the front porch of the Oba’s palace.
“Kabiyesi we are very honoured that you have accepted us today which is a testament of our goodwill intents and Commitment to developing the land of IMOTA. This is why not only we are here to decorate you as a key member of the Ikorodu Metro Lions club, But also we’re Unveiling our ethics code here in your palace which will further foster our relationship and ties as we work together to make IMOTA great” Lion Tokunbo Aromolaran PMJF NLCF added
“My door is always open to the members and leaders of the Ikorodu Metro Lions club, looking at their level of support towards the growth of IMOTA Land, One cannot even resist belonging to the Lions Club. I pray that you will continue to grow and be supplied in every areas you need it.

The day ended with a formal meeting set up by the DG to access the efforts of the club and counseling on ways to get better.
