In a desperate call for Assistance, The Ikorodu Pioneer Virtual Lions Club once again lived up to expectations (in her service to humanity) by catering to the needs of a Less Privileged home in Eyita area of Ikorodu on the 4th of March 2021.

The Club volunteer members in a convoy mobilised large quantities of food items such as Bag of Rice, Beans, Cartoons of indomie noodles, Semovita, Tin tomatoes, Spaghetti and other food items to the interior part of Eyita (Sabo Axis), Reaching out to the children of the less privileged home.

Gifted Steppers Foundation is based in Ikorodu, Initiated for the less privileged children and managed by Miss Ihuoma Harrison (an artisan).

According to Lion Adeola Rotinwa PMJF NLCF (Project Chairperson) the need to help the Gifted Steppers Foundation became imminent when she received an urgent call over the weekend from a friend to support the children (as they were living without food supplies).

“Actually, we already had it in mind to reach out to this foundation for the month of March simply because it is our responsibility to do so at random in each passing Month. But I Recieved a call this past weekend that made it a thing of urgency for us to support them as soon as possible” Lion Adeola Rotinwa

“As a result of the distress call, I immediately reached out to our members to make contributions for us to support them, And with the help of God, We were able to raise huge amount of money which made us acquire the magnitude of food items you’re seeing today”

“I appreciate our volunteers Members for not relenting in their service to humanity which has resulted in us putting smiles in the faces of this children” Lion Adeola Rotinwa Added

In her Acknowledgement of the club and appreciation, Miss Ihuoma Harrison thanked the Pioneer Virtual Lions Club for bringing such a huge Support towards the foundation, While praying for the leadership of the club.

“I myself was an orphan and I know how it feels to be Living without any support from parents at a very tender age. I went through school and Dancing was my only means of survival. That was why I set up this home for the orphans 3years ago to help the children within the community and also using this medium to groom them in different areas to can make a career out of them individually” Ihuoma Harrison

“What the Pioneer Virtual Lions Club has done for us today means they Understand that alot of people needs support across the community. We are truly grateful to the club because this food items will keep the children for a long period of time”

“We cannot thank them enough as you can see our children are Soo happy to witness such a generous and kind Act” Ihuoma Harrison added

The food items was presented by Lion Olufunmi Oshinowo-Bashorun onbehalf Of The Ikorodu Pioneer Virtual Lions Club to the Gifted Steppers Foundation.
