IKORODU ELIMINATES AGEGE TO QUALIFY FOR THE FINALS AGAINST ALIMOSHO AT THE BOLA AHMED TINUBU (BAT) UNITY CUP 2021 ®™✓ INN Nigeria ©

The semi finals of the ongoing Bola Ahmed Tinubu Unity Cup Tournament ended on 25th of March at the soccer Temple Agege Stadium with Ikorodu North defeating Agege (the host team) to advance to the Competition’s final.

The epic clash saw Agege fans at the soccer Temple outraged as the host team (Agege) couldn’t convert a Penalty Shootout awarded to them in order to equal the score line at the second half of the game (which ended 1 – 0 in favour of Ikorodu North).

In the prior, Alimosho defeated Ifako Ijaye on the 24th of March after the game ended in a One all draw which led to penalty Shootouts.

Ikorodu and Alimosho Local Government Area, Both considered the biggest regions in Lagos State faced off earlier in the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Unity Cup (Group A) at the first round which ended up in a draw.

With all eyes gazing at the finale of the 2021 Annual Bola Ahmed Tinubu Unity Cup, The table now projects Ikorodu North Vs Alimosho (For the Grand Price) And Agege Vs Ifako Ijaye (Third Place Position) respectively.

As noted from the onset, BAT Unity Cup is put together to harness talents through sports, And the Competition has Soo far exhibited extravagant skills from youths across the local government areas in Lagos State which is actually the essence for the event.

Date for the Final match of the tournament has been fixed for 2nd April 2021 at the Soccer Temple Agege Stadium with Special guests and notable Personalities expected to be in attendance.
