History was made On the 11th of April 2021 at The African Methodist church Cathedral Igbogbo as a paradigm shift was observed in The African Lads and Lasses Brigade (37/46TH Lagos Company) Ikorodu.

Captain Clinton O. Adeniji (Lads Captain/Head of Company) & Captain Onome T. Oduntan (Lasses Captain) was Officially installed respectively to the 37/46th Lagos company brigade.

Prior to the Installations, Rt. Revd. M. J. Toyi (Presiding Clergyman) of the African Methodist church Cathedral Igbogbo Admonished the incoming lads and lasses leadership on ‘MANNER’ to which a leader must operate in order to achieve success.

“Everything you’ve learnt over the years must be positively put to play as you’re now Position to be an influencer and a short caller. Your manner as a leader should be subjected to absolute humility and filled with the spirit of learning to grow better and faster” Rev. M.J Toyi

“The new captains are very well known and I pray for God’s wisdom and understanding to guide you through this line of duty” Rev. M.J Toyi Added

(Member, Board of Trustee, United African Methodist Church Organization), Mrs Eatrite Oduniyi, Mr Omolade Oduniyi, Mrs Eghe Omorowa, Bro Leke Soberu and Bro M O Mustapha.

Also during the course of the program, two new patrons were also installed; Chief Bro. Adeniyi Ogunlewe (Otun Baba Ijo United African Methodist Church Cathedral Igbogbo) and Engr. Olugbenga Adegbite Ogunlewe
(Alatunse Ijo United African Methodist Church Cathedral Igbogbo).

The new captains appreciated everybody for supporting the enrollment which has been stalled for nearly 6years.

“God bless all hands that have contributed to the success of this enrollment/Rededication, We shall endeavour to give our best as captains to the course ahead of us” Clinton Adeniji
