Smile Foundation, An NGO which also stands for “Saving More Important Lives Everday Foundation” on the 24th of April 2021, Reached out to small business owners both within and outside Ikorodu, Thus given them Positive platforms to grow their respective businesses.

With a clear goal to mobilize volunteers and partners in providing opportunities, Inspiring humanity to be accountable for resources, goodwill and opportunity givings, Setting up individuals to be independent, Building hope for a better tomorrow, Given grants to small scale business owners / starters quarterly and Empowering youths in their preferred skills quarterly.

The Foundation indeed presented Solutions to poverty by creating independent minded individuals at the Constituency office of the Majority Leader Representing Ikorodu Constituency 1 (Hon S.O.B Agunbiade).

According to the convener Mr Tosin Obadeko, The Foundation is Positioned to be a solution to poverty by creating a nation of independent people and spreading the power of ‘Independent’ to everyone through empowering/enriching individual to eradicate poverty.

“The selections made to realise our present beneficiaries was done at random on varieties of online platforms and some people showed interest, But we narrowed it down to small scale business needs we screened during the process” Tosin Obadeko

“We understood the dynamics behind choosing eligible beneficiaries. Our plan is not to support on a one time basis but on a long-term sustainability measure“

“15 Thousand naira (15,000) Cash Grants was given To All Beneficiaries and we shall also create measures to follow them up, Ensuring they use it to add value to their respective businesses” Tosin Obadeko Added

Representing the Majority Leader at the program in full capacity, Elder Jones Oluomoniyi stated the Essence of the Grant, Which is to instill the virtue of ‘Giving’ in the hearts of all beneficiaries.
