On the 7th of May 2021, Prince Fatola Adesegun Was appointed as a Member of the Lagos State School based management committee.
The Lagos State School Based Management Committee was created based on ideas contained in the new State Policy on SBMCs,
Due to consultation with stakeholders at local and state levels in 2009 and 2010.
The School-Based Management Committees (SBMCs) are an essential link between schools and the communities they serve. SBMCs are made up of a range of local people involved with their school.
SBMCs work to increase communities’ involvement with education, And help to improve the quality and effectiveness of schools. They provide a way of helping the education authorities to listen to what adults and children want from schools, And ways of increasing the contributions of everyone in the local area to making education work well.
