Time and time again, I am proud of my root in Igbogbo kingdom, home of the great and mighty men and women of class and excellent. 

With every sense of humility, I say A Very Big Thank You to my party (APC) leaders; Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Chief Aderenle Olowu,   Ashipa Kaoli Olusanya, Sen. Adeseye Ogunlewe, Hon. Babaji Benson, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola and every other leader of our Great Party, you lead and I follow.

To my fellow contestants, I have so much respect for you all, Oshinlaja Dauda, Hon. Ashafa Olalekan, Adeyemi Oshodi and Ogunlaja Waleola are my brothers. I want to thank you for giving your best without forgetting that we are one indivisible family.

The seat was severely contested between my dear brothers and me, we gave our best with the spirit of sportsmanship, but one person would eventually emerge, this is a privilege I will never take lightly.

I am indebted to the people of Ward C1 for the privilege given me to be nominated as APC’s candidate for the forthcoming Local Government election and consequently represent you as your councillor at Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.

Thank you for believing in me. With your support, you have shown that we can all work towards the goals and ideals of making our local government first among equals.

This is a victory for us all including myself and co-contestants to whom I have dedicated this victory to. We are all winners.

I promise to deliver on my words and ensure that I uphold the sanctity of the mandate that you have bestowed upon me.
