The All Progressives Congress (APC) Leaders in Igbogbo Bayeku Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu Division have restated their readiness for the forthcoming local government elections in Lagos while giving nod to the candidates of the party who emerged at the just concluded party primaries.

The APC leaders made this known earlier today during courtesy visits by the candidates of the party in Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA, led by the Chairmanship Candidate, Bldr. Olusesan Mayokun Daini, the Vice Chairmanship candidate, Mr. Nuraini Abolaji Okedina-Maja, Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko (Ward C1 – Abosan), Hakeem Adewale Solawon (Ward C2 – Mokun), Mathew Kolawole Arowolo (Ward C4 – Ibeshe), Adekunle Anifowose (Ward C5 – Elepe). Hon. Nurudeen Alimi (Ward C3) was absent due to an unavoidable official assignment.

The visits which afforded the candidates to individually and collectively pledge their loyalty to the party and its leaders, reaffirm their commitment to delivering on their mandates.

The leaders eulogized the Chairman for his sterling performance in the first four years and prayed for more successes in the coming years. They also charged the Vice Chairmanship and the councillorship candidates to give Daini the needed support to continually improve the socio-economic well-being of the people.

Leading the pack of leaders visited is Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, who doubles as a member of the Governors Advisory Council and the Chairman of Apex Leaders in Igbogbo-Bayeku LCDA. He embraced the team with all assurance of his support for the party candidates, he advised them to have undivided loyalty for the Party and unity of purpose for the development of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.

Daini and his entourage also visited Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Vice Chairman, APC Lagos East Senatorial District, who is also the Deputy Chairman, Apex Leaders Ikorodu Division. The visit was an ample opportunity for the enviable leader to express his satisfaction in Bldr. Olusesan Daini’s performance advised the party’s candidates to emulate Daini’s sincere sense of focus and create unity of purpose to develop Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA further.

Alhaji Sefiu Ogunyemi, the APC Chairman for Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA received the party candidates, in the company of the five ward Chairmen in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. Alhaji Ogunyemi reiterated the importance of unity of purpose to the team.

The ward Chairmen while speaking one after the other, expressed the readiness of the party to work as an undefeatable team with undoubted potentials to win the forthcoming election on July 24th, 2021 .
