The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA Bldr. Adeola Adebisi Banjo visits the Ikorodu North CDC and solicit their support ahead of the July 24th Local Government election in the state.

The Chairman of the APC Campaign Team BACT Hon. Matthew Aliu Adesanya while addressing members dispel the rumour of a
purported defection claim.

According to him “As a leader, I take responsibility because of my action or inaction, I am using this opportunity to appeal to all our aggrieved members who have left for other parties to retrace their steps and come back to fight their places within the party.”

He stressed that the party is supreme and its decision is binding on all members of the party, linking it to a football match, he said the decision of the referee in a football match is final and assured members of a renewed vigour, commitment and determination of the incumbent to bring the right development to lkorodu North.

The CDC Chairman Prince Adeniran Ogunbamwo commend Hon. Matthew for his spirit of sportsmanship and urged other aspirants to emulate him.

He urged the Council boss to task the captain of industries in lkorodu North on Corporate Social Responsibility as a strategy for community development While addressing members, the Council boss Bldr. Adeola Adebisi Banjo expressed delight in the reconciliation process and assured members of a renewed vigour and commitment to a transformation agenda of his second term administration.

In his words ” I am highly impressed by the reception given to our team. I am happy that my brother Hon. Matthew and I are together
and I want to assure you of a transformational change in governance in Ikorodu North” He admonished the CDC not to dabble into party primaries and urged the CDC to focus more on community development.

The CDC Chairman in his closing remarks urged the Council boss to listen to the views expressed by those opposed to his program and see how he can improve on it. He however, urged residents to use the opportunity to key into the continuous voter’s registration announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Among the delegation are, the Vice Chairman and the five Councillorship Candidates and the outgoing Councillor. Hon. Ameen Olawale Apanisile, The Council Leader, Hon. Adekoya Ayo Abiodun, Hon. Sherif Tijani, Hon. Balikis Aderoju Anifowoshe, Majority Leader, Hon. Niran Adeyemi aka Wake-up, Chief whip, Hon. Bola Daramola and Hon. Aro Balogun Babatunde.
