Led by the outgoing president of Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club (Lion Ishola Oladimeji NLCF), the club accompanied its district governor Lion Tokunbo Aromolaran PJMF NLCF to the Sabo area of Ikorodu for its final project accomplishment stamp.
In rounding up the 2020/2021 Lions year, Ikorodu Diamond lions club on the 30th June, 2021, laid down the foundation of Six (6) Units Toilet Block, the Club Legacy Project, at Jamatul Islamiyah Primary School, Sabo, Ikorodu, Lagos.
The project emanated due to Community needs Assessment carried out by the Club’s Project team, through Executive Secretary, Local Government Educational Board.
“The Government built Toilet in the School premises is in a bad shape and would not help the students of this school to learn effectively, that was why we came together to lay down the foundation in order for our successor to complete the project for the school” Lion Prince Adeyinka Oyenuga NLCF (Service Chairperson)
The outgoing president thanked his volunteer members for their consistent support over his tenure which saw the club climbing new heights.
