National Association of Public administration students (NAPAS) Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in commemoration of it’s 10th anniversary to nation building honoured Hon Balogun Rotimi Olatunbosun popularly known as BRO with an Award of Excellence on the 9th of September 2021.

The event which doubled as her annual Ife Public Administration summit deemed it fit to recognise the Ikorodu-Lagos based Real Estate mogul for his leadership strides and overall contributions to both youth empowerment and grassroots development.

Students from different faculty of study graced the Nactem Hall, OAU Ife as personalities from within and outside Osun state marked the anniversary event.

Honoured alongside Hon Femi Julius (Representing Saki West in Oyo State House Of Assembly), Obafemi Awolowo University’s public administration students hailed the Estate consultant and Politician for his fervent and steadfast backings felt beyond the centre of excellence state.

“NAPAS is consistent with growth and development which encompasses nation building. We have stayed on that path for a decade and it has helped us identified with leaders whom are visionary about the ideas we drive to propel Nigeria positively” Alimi Jamiu Opeyemi (President NAPAS)

“Hon Rotimi Balogun Olatunbosun is one leader we hold in high esteem and look up to for effective counselling and direction. His exemplary leadership qualities which he consistently displays to foster economic growth in Lagos state is held by us with high esteem” Olajide Emmanuel Oliwatobi (Speaker NAPAS)

“The criteria to achieving greatness is always embedded in the heart of leaders with pure drive and tenacity to grow. We’re proud of Hon Balogun Rotimi and all of his accomplishments. We are sure of his track record and the best is yet to come from him, that’s why we’re honouring him” Ojo Oluwafemi Adebayo (Chairman planning committee)

In his appreciation speech, Hon Balogun Rotimi expressed his profound acknowledgment and in-depth gratitude to NAPAS, asserting his unwavering support to youth empowerment scheme for a better Nigeria.

“I thank the Almighty God for his divine wisdom upon my life, I also want to thank my lovely wife and my entire family for their love and support which has helped me stand and work towards contributing to our nation building”

“We’re still very young and we have a lot to offer our beloved country. Nigeria is perceived as weak due to our economy, but the leadership we’re projecting now is centred on those that will work the talk not talk and not work. Having the right mind and great leaders coming up even from NAPAS in Obafemi Awolowo university, we’re certain to have a better positive trajectory for change”

“I was so happy and glad that one of the best institution in our country is recognising me for the little I have done. I see it as a motivation and encouragement to do more. It means you don’t need to occupy a political position to genuinely serve the masses. If the passion is there, it is good to keep doing what you do and let God bless us in his own way”

“Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) is known prestigiously to produce the finest minds and brilliant youths across Nigeria, with a landmark pedigree for Excellence. That they recognised me is a rare honour and privilege, I am truly grateful for the opportunity” Hon Balogun Rotimi Added
