The Executive Chairman Of Ijede LCDA, Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba has extended her congratulatory messages to athletes from Ijede LCDA for dominating the just concluded October 1st Oba Kabir Shotobi Independence Mini Marathon (organised by Hon SOB Agunbiade {Majority Leader of the Lagos State House Of Assembly, Representing Ikorodu Constituency 1) in Ikorodu division.

On her social media official post, the Council Boss stated “I received with great delight the news of the exploits of some exceptional school children from ljede LCDA who participated in the 2021 Oba Kabir Shotobi Independence Day Mini Marathon”

Odufolakun Rebecca emerged overall winner, while Akanbi Muslimat (2019 overall winner) came 3rd. They are both from Luwasa Senior High School”

“In the female category, Saka Aliyat from Alake Collegeljede clinched 4th position, while Kayode Temidire from Luwasa Junior High School took 5th position. Also on the winning list were Oto Favour and Ede Favour from Luwasa Senior High School who took 7th and 10th positions respectively”

For the male category, Rasaq Sarumi took 2nd position, Ishola Ayomide 5th position, both from Luwasa Junior High School. Also, Ibrahim ldowu from Luwasa Senior High School took 10th position. We also had two students of Mahmud Ahmadiyya College who placed 17th and 19th positions”

“In a related development, winners emerged at the Spelling Bee Competition held at the Council Secretariat a few days ago. The first position in the primary category went to Jeremiah Isaac from Anwar’ul Islam Primary School, Aliche Samuel from Methodist Primary School came second, and the third position was clinched by Salaudeen Khalid from Community Primary School”

“The senior category, Habeeb Lamina from Luwasa High School clinched the 1st position while Kolawole Emmanuel and Lasisi
Opeyemi lamat both from Abule-Eko Community Grammar School emerged in 2nd and 3rd positions respectively”
