Gender and Pride’ was the focal point as the lagos state polytechnic students’ union government initiated a campaign against menstrual poverty and sensitisation against rape, sexual assault and domestic violence.

Oshodi Arts Gallery (organisers of Miss arts Nigeria) engaged students of the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) in a bid to empower the girl child on productive living on the 27th of October 2021, at the 700 seater hall in the school premises.

Dr Oshodi Seyi Paul (CEO) represented by his head of the administration (Miss Sulaimon Opeyemi) oshodi arts gallery scolded the jam padded sphere crammed with lads from numerous aptitude on areas to stay focused as an optimistic youth to effect career transition.

She also reiterated the company’s intended undertaking (Miss Arts Nigeria) which is established to uplift the girl child in tracts of arts, crafts, culture and beauty.

“Miss arts is a first of its kind to empower our females and develop their skillset, training them in a form of 3 weeks reality show dimension to bring out the best in their craft, making them relevant in this competitive world of ours

“We’re sure that a lot of ladies in this great institution would love to showcase their hidden potentials and also work towards enhancing their passion, Oshodi arts gallery as an institution also embodies everything that is required to bring our heritage to the limelight. So we urge everyone to feel free, take out time, come around and do a free sightseeing tour at our gallery, you will be glad you did”

“We also have some of our ambassadors here propelling the equivalent circuit, it’s a mission of synergy, that’s why we are encouraging every inquisitive damsel to get entangled in this first of it kind concept” Miss Sulaimon Opeyemi Added

Olatoye Oyinkansola (Miss Laspotech) and Waliu Adeyeri, both ambassadors from the stable joined in creating more awareness to the students of the institution, craving the need for them to take advantage of the show’s maiden event.

Other guests in attendance were; Alhaja Taofikat Allison, Bunmi Dipo Adedoyin, (Mrs.) Olowu Mistura Afolashade, Yusuf Azeezat Ideraoluwa, Comrade Dunni Thomas and Ify Emilo.
