3rd edition of the Annual reactors cup climaxed at the LASPOTECH tennis court in Ikorodu on the 4th of December 2021, producing the finest players the tournament has to offer

Featuring double and single final clash, the competition which has spanned 3 weeks carved in a day-long duration to see eventual winners emerged

According to the president of the LASPOTECH tennis club (Mr Mojeed Olade Sanni), the tournament is unique and expected to expand due to its growing demand by aspiring athletes and interested participants

“The club is under the school (LASPOTECH), that’s why we have not gone beyond the shores as expected of us, but the fact remains, we keep accumulating due to peoples interest, not everyone will play football”

“Tennis is an interesting game, it promotes love. We’re affiliated with police college, Lagos country club, Ijebu ode tennis club, Ibadan tennis club and Ilaro tennis club just to mention a few. Their members come around to play with us and we too move towards their region to play likewise”

“It is a gradual step we’re taking which is visible in our project execution, Our normal trajectory is to invite clubs from other states, but due to our recovery from the covid-19 pandemic and also losing two of our members we decided to mark this edition on a low key”

“Going forward we’re planning the maiden edition of Ayangburen Cup, using tennis as a development tool for community growth, it will feature under 10 and 12 which will take place within the first quarter of 2022. It will also be coupled with the senior tennis program”

With Mr Adeyemi Olaniyan winning the singles Competition and Mr Sanni Ahmed (Amenlum)/Mr Williams Abugu clinching the doubles game the president worded “The significance of this edition is to create more awareness for people to know about the tennis game

“Special prices for the winners are tennis kits” Mr Mojeed Olade asserted
