A re-pact poise to give back and aid community development, old students of Shams El-Deen grammar school (set 91/92) continues to make their presence felt in Ikorodu with an honorary visit to the palace of its paramount ruler

Received by the Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom (HRM, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi) on the 15th of December 2021, the association ably led by Mr Yinka Majekodunmi (chairman) paid homage to the imperial ruler, delivering the essence of its 30th reunion trajectory to the king

The association oversight seized the medium to appreciate the king for his open-access approach to leadership and also for an extraordinary achievement amass under his years of supremacy over Ikorodu kingdom

We cannot be marking an iconic and landmark reunion of this nature without paying homage to our distinguished kabiesi, under whose leadership our association is thriving and becoming a tremendous blessing to our immediate communities”

“Today is very substantial and outstanding to us (in this our reunion week) because the Ayangburen could’ve handily been someplace else, but he decides to pause and receive us

“Projecting this milestone procedure, we deemed it fit to visit the king for a royal blessing and prayers to keep us strong and capable of accomplishing our set goals and objectives” Mr Yinka Majekodunmi affirmed

In his welcome and conclusive remarks, Ayangburen engages the association, “I understand the importance of the old students association as grand patron of Zummratul Islamiyahh school. Up to this day, I still render myself for service through that circuit to nurture community development. That’s why despite my different engagements I had to stay behind and wait to receive this association”

“It is very important for us not to joke with old students affairs. Most of us have become great in our endeavours but today, some of the daily school engagements that made us unique while growing up has shifted. It is not too late to correct our teenagers, all we have to do is collaborate with schools to impact changes in our children”

Keep accomplishing what you commit for the institutions, Scout for the best pupils and assist them.
