Members of the Ikorodu Local Government Task Force operatives, drawn from vigilante groups across the division will now enjoy free medical treatment and life insurance policy, among many other welfare packages.

The Executive Secretary of the Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative, Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru made this announcement recently while addressing operatives of the body at a special reception organized for them at the Ayangburen palace, Ikorodu.

Abiru, in his speech, noted that IDPILG was leaving no stone unturned to give the local joint task force operatives of the Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative a good welfare package.

‘Your welfare is paramount in our hearts. The little things we have done for you when you were in camp indicates what we have in store for you, he said.’

‘In another week or two, we are going to provide life insurance cover for every one of you. Also, we will soon unveil a free medical package in conjunction with some organisations, to get you free medical treatment at the hospital for you and a maximum of four of your children and your wife’, he added.
