Organised at LASTMA yard in shagamu road, the AGM highlighted challenges faced by the CDAs induced by a deficit of funds, which has affected the discharge of functions in the area of security, capital projects and prompt payment of the CDC dues, local government dues and CDAC dues

According to Prince Adeniran Ogunbawon (Chairman, CDC Ikorodu North LCDA), “There is need for CDA leaders to cultivate the habit of writing to well-meaning individuals and corporate organisations to give more support towards the infrastructural development of their community”

“We have to encourage and attract our youths and women in joining the community leaders as this is the only way to prepare them for responsible and selfless leadership in Nigeria”

“The CDAs must be transparent, accountable and practice delegation of duties in their affairs. The electoral process in the CDAs must be free, fair and credible. This is the only way the youths and women can be more attracted” Prince Adeniran expanded
