Day two of the annual E-tourism business conference and awards organised by Mall of Fame Nigeria reaches its crescendo on the 2nd of February 2022, at the WBC hotels in Victoria Island Lagos, engaging more guests on the visionary pathway of its tech-driven idea
Aimed at transforming the tourism sector to a purely digital mechanism to actualise an enhanced pattern of profitable output, the virtual and physical convention featured more panel sessions from experts in the field within Nigeria and abroad
Olugbenga Joseph Komolafe (Convener) affirmed from the get-go on the eventual turnout of the conception expedition; to triangulate tourist schemes, proxy activities, alignment with recreational regularities and policy regulations
Before the certification of participants and reeling out of global and ambassadorial award recipients, Hon Kehinde Quadri from the African Union, Nanna Yakubu (Tourism Writer) and Mr Oluwadamilola Emmanuel from the Lagos state waterways authority (Laswa) returned to the podium to rim attendees in expanding their strategy to practise the act of tourism, involving themselves in the sector and becoming active practitioners
Mrs Abiola Adelano (from sterling Bank) took to the podium to illustrate the financial institution’s drive (as a powerhouse to support intended tourism activists, also highlighting various tracts the bank is positioned to drive tourism across the nation
A special presentation was also delivered by Dmitriy Tin (Centre smart tourism UNWTO consultant Kazakhstan) virtually to participants on ways to thrive and become a successful tourism activist
In all the symposium was an unconditional indicator, the tourism sector is poised to encounter an absolute modification via E-tourism, actively propelling a paradigm shift on the e-commerce terrain in Nigeria
