February, a month with Love in the air echoing St. Valentine’s Day, is widely viewed to numerous people as the epoch to communicate admiration and connectivity, while to others it’s the renewing of family vows and commitment to promoting related bonds over the years

Whichever way it is obtained St. Valentine’s Day is significant for exhibiting tenderness and illustrating subjective association bonded with high values

On a value-based liaison forum, the Commonwealth scientist group of schools in Imota LCDA organised a relationship seminar for both public and private institution pupils on the 14th of February

Tagged: ‘Correcting The Future’, the symposium firmly established itself by orientating students on the true essence of celebrating the medium, propelling education as the bedrock of development in career pathway improvement

Comrade Jubril Oluwatobiloba (a motivational speaker) encouraged students at the fora to see the span of Love as an interval to evaluate true friends of academic prestige, and stay definitive to accomplish a promising destiny.

Comrade Jubril continued, “As learners, this season is all about getting more knowledgeable with friends of morality and omitting future wasters. We must get rid of the emotion that St valentines day is purely for lovers”

“It is about understanding your life’s direction and noticing those who’re ready to follow you towards that great destination you aspire to feat. Realizing that we do not need everyone in our walk on this earth, It is a juncture of prioritising those in your private space and progressing positively”

“While others may be occupying the period to squander their focus and play into regretful adventures, it is very essential as students to infuse this time in staring at the future and start acting like the big ambition you’re foreseeing daily”.

“Your background doesn’t matter, what you’re today is different from what you’ll become tomorrow, but it is what you do today that will determine what your tomorrow will look like. So I want to urge everyone to stay on course and believe God for an extraordinary fulfilment” Comrade Jubril Concluded

The program also featured debate, exchanging of gifts, drama and special choreography dance interlude, played host to students from Imota community grammar school, Halogen group of Schools, Regal Private School and Commonwealth Scientist group of schools in the local community development area

Mr Shoipe Samuel, an English teacher in Commonwealth scientist group of schools (Organising chairman of the event’s planning committee) and Hon Ojikutu Gbenga (Proprietor of Commonwealth scientist group of schools) told Ikorodu News Network (INN) in a joint interview averred that the program is set up to sensitise the pupils on building constructive relationships

“This program is meant to procure balance to friendships for academic purposes, it helps to ensure the students understand those they’re welcoming into their lives. We have put it concurrently to give them an eye-opener on developing reasonable and futuristic counterparts”

“The program has given them adequate insight to discard meaningless friendships and adopt friends that will help them grow intellectually, we have been able to use this program to demonstrate to them that you don’t have to do it because others are doing, but simply because it will contribute immensely to your future increases”

For indecisive pupils, the administrative pair urged young lads to speak up and open themselves to learning in their setback senses

“That is why we’ve brought motivational orator to talk to them because most times it is not about writing on the board alone, it goes beyond that. Bringing Comrade Jubril has made them comprehend from another angle and mature swiftly”

“Also, in the area of indecisive students, with this program we’ve offered them the need to have mentors and guardians, who they can reach out to for advice and recommendations on what to do and the next plan to take” They asserted
