District governor (Lion Fortune Wagbatsoma) commissioned a subjective project on the 24th of February 2022, courtesy Ikorodu Sapphire Lions club, stretching the DG’s assignment in Ikorodu

The club, recently ushering in its first female president (Lion Oluwayemisi Abiola) took D404A1 members to the Lagos State University of science and technology (formerly known as LASPOTECH), in Ikorodu for the commissioning of a renovation block of office and empowerment of Leo Olaoluwa Oluwasegun Oyelakin

According to Lion Yemisi Abiola, “Leo Olaoluwa Segun is a dedicated member of the Leo club in Ikorodu, who had an accident in 2019 which had his right leg amputated due to the severity of his casualty”

“Despite his ordeal, Leo Segun bounced back and continued to press on with the hope to become a great individual without pausing his love to service humanity. He’s a student of the former Laspotech, and also owned a mini business centre”

“Furthermore, it was sadly discovered that due to poor financial backings, Leo Segun’s business began struggling and needed urgent support to keep his dream alive in making ends meets”

“So I decided that one of my key projects is to aid Leo Segun with support of renovating his mini business office and also provide him with generator, standing fan and other items to keep his business fully functional for customers patronage”

“As a way to support one of our junior who has never pushed back in responding to need of humanity, we’re honoured to have our district governor commission this precious project, as we believe it will bring hope, joy and encouragement to one of us” Lion Yemisi surmised

Adeleke Adebule and the secretary of the CDA, Mr Rasak Ajiboye presented a special appointment letter of matronship to the MD/CEO of ESSO Hospital, Dr (Mrs) Odoji Augusta Edoghogho.
Dr. Odoji received the CDA executives at her medical centre on the 28th of September 2023.
Prior to the presentation, the chairman of the CDA, Otunba (Lion) C.O Kajero said Dr. Odoji is well recognised for her numerous contributions to the service of humanity and community development.
Citing her as a force to reckon with in Ayetoro community, Otunba Kajero explained that it is only right for the CDA to honour her as the official Matron of Ayetoro Community Development Association.
"In presenting this letter to our distinguished Dr. Augusta Odoji, we are equally extending our collaborative gesture to her for the development of our community, which is meant to complement the effort of the government.

Speaking to Ikorodu News Network (INN), Dr. Odoji said her readiness to work with the CDA was demonstrated during the inauguration of the excos, where she performed the official foundation laying for the CDA's new secretariat.
Underscoring key functions highlighted by Otunba Kajero, she expressed her intent to synergize with the CDA for them to fulfil their 2-year developmental agenda for Ayetoro community.
She continued, "It captured my attention hearing Otunba Kajero talking about using the CDA to empower the youths in our community in the aspect of creating job opportunities".

8ojhh78256470233576825639 It was another uplifting day for Education in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA as the only female councillor in the council's legislative chamber, Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko rehabilitated two classrooms and provided a water tank stand/Fetching Point for Methodist Primary School Igbogbo.
The project was commissioned on Friday the 22nd of September 2023 by Chief Asipa Kaoli Olusanya and presided over by the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, Bldr. Olusesan Daini.
Receiving a high level of commendation from the school administration, Princess Basirat, the councillor of ward C1 and Deputy leader of Igbogbo Baiyeku legislative chamber, appreciated the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for a timeless mentorship. She also acknowledged Ikorodu apex leader, Asipa Kaoli, and her council boss, Bldr. Sesan Daini for leading the pack effectively, providing her with a palatable room to function.
Furthermore, she commended the Methodist primary school administration for cooperating with her towards the successful completion of the project.
According to Princess Basirat, the sole aim of the project is to help students by providing them with a better learning environment.
The program, themed; 'Maintaining A Clean Environment', she explained that the school is observing overpopulation, which causes inconveniences for pupils.
"It was due to those inconveniences that spurred me to get to work on facilitating the extra classrooms as a form of service to humanity," she said.
Speaking to Ikorodu News Network (INN), Princess Basirat illustrated that the school also lacked access to clean water which prompted her (as councillor of the ward) to provide the tank, stand and fetching point.
Urging the school administration to apply maintenance culture in preserving the resources, Princess pleads with everyone to imbibe the heart of giving.
The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo Baiyeki LCDA, Bldr. Sesan Daini, in his address dubbed the day celebratory, equally applauding the project facilitator, Princess Basirat Banjoko. Emphasising performance, Bldr Daini expressed his satisfaction towards all councillors in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA working and making things better in their numerous wards. Bringing his attention to Methodist Primary School, he said, "Seeing this project is a challenge to me!".
"As I've promised, Methodist Primary School building renovation with fully equipped furniture, and building of 8 toilets which will be commissioned in the next 50 days" Bldr Daini said.
The council boss asserted the party's developmental mandate for communities will continue to reflect in his administration as voiced during his campaign. Before commissioning the project, Chief Kaoli Olusanya praised Princess Basirat Adetutu for prioritising education, explaining that education is the first way to escape poverty.
He further encouraged the administrators of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA not to relent in fulfilling their mandate because it is a way of giving hope to the people.
Mrs. Ogunfeyimi, HeadMistress of Methodist Primary School Igbogbo praised the council chairman, Bldr. Daini and all other leaders in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA for their consistent support towards education.
Pointing out that Bldr. Daini's administration has not for once left the education sector, she encourages the leadership to keep propelling and investing in the life of the future generation around the communities.
Representative Education District 2, Mrs. Odusanya also saluted the work of the administration in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, urging them to proceed with doing good. Adeboruwa-in-council Chiefs, Mr Taiwo Orenuga (chairman APC Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA) and other auspicious guests were in attendance.
