In a bid to trigger more productive and utility knowledge amongst young intellectuals, Real Youth For Positive Impact Initiative (known better as Realers Initiative) took senior pupils of Longson College on a special site tour to Lush Hair Nigeria, a subsidiary of Lucky Fibres Limited based in Ikorodu

Akinola Taofeek Sunday O. (Human Resource / Admin Supervisor Lucky Fibres Limited), Akinmusire Adesina (Human Resource Manager Lush Hair Division Lucky Fibres Limited), Mrs Martina O. Ajibade (Senior Human Resource Manager Lucky Fibres Limited), Damilola Agboola (Assistant Marketing Manager Lush Hair Division Lucky Fibres Limited) and Akinsanya Mobola Olalekan (Human Resource/Admin Deputy Manager Lucky Fibres Limited) were amongst delegates that received the Parafa based school in Ikorodu North LCDA on the 17th of March 2022

Engaging the students during the tour, Mrs Damilola Agboola stated that Lush Hair Nigeria is a hair extension brand made in Nigeria, for Nigerian women to make them feel beautiful, confident, and expressive.

Producing thousands of hair tones per day based on demand, Mrs Damilola added that As a brand, Lush Hair is all about supporting and empowering women with a commitment to enhancing and improving the hair competition of an African woman.

Mrs Damilola continued, “We harbour different braiding points where hair are produced, assembled and packaged for deliveries. As the biggest in Nigeria, our product goes through a lot of quality control processes before it is deemed sellable”

Students were afterwards taken to different internal sections of braiding point in the manufacturing plant and given mediums to ask puzzling questions on their adventurous survey

Obenwhe Kome (Head boy, Longson College) on behalf of the school expressed gratitude to representatives of Lucky Fibres Limited for giving the institution open access to learn, explore and grow their knowledge via the excursion

Mr Ayanfe Ayobami (convener, Real Youth For Positive Impact Initiative) further credited the organisation for giving the school proper access to learning, adding that measures of such exposes future leaders to a new horizon

“With everything the students has been able to learn today, am sure they’ll go back home and articulate better ways to achieve their dreams as they grow, sharing their experience to peers that weren’t present at this tour will be priceless to them”
