Tagged Beyond Education, the maiden edition of ‘The Upgrade’, an educative and inspirational seminar for aspiring leaders and business owners took place on the 19th of March 2022
Staged at the state church auditorium of the Living faith church Ikorodu popularly known as Winners Chapel, the symposium played host to religious personalities, entrepreneurs, students from both Kingdom heritage model school, faith academy and youth organisations

With Mrs Folashade Adefisayo (Honourable commissioner for Education) as the special guest, participants were taken through a series of orientation talks and lectures
Also chaperoned by the state pastor, Adeleye Ogbonyomi and His Excellency, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Executive Governor Of Lagos State) ably represented by Rev. Bukola Adeleke (special adviser to the state governor on religious matters), the program was majorly centred around applying the functions of education in diverse areas of life
Before her Award recognition, Mrs Folashade Adefisayo (commissioner for Education) stated that the youths must begin to see themselves as leaders of today and not just the leaders of tomorrow.

She continued, “the need to be a critical thinker to be a game-changer in this present times is very important for one to make moderate progress in their endeavours, there are no two ways about it if you’re not able to think outside the box on every given scenario”
“Applying basic skills like becoming a computer literate in the right direction because education is a combination of disciplines which evolves an individual into an eventual phenomenon”
“The Nation needs trailblazers and creative masterminds, so I urge everyone to improve their intellectual capacity and explore more” Mrs Adefisayo asserted
Other guests speakers include; Fidelis Oshiegbu (CEO, Fidel Group), Damilola Anuoluwa Tomiwa (CEO, DOA Career Consult), pastor Kayode Akomolafe (CEO, Tomfak Technology), Nancy Ini, Kemi Ovie (senior manager First bank Nigeria Plc), Kingsley Okere, and state pastor, Adeleye Ogbonyomi who was also honoured with an Award of leadership
