IKORODU BAGS 28 MEDALS DURING LAGOS EDUCATION DISTRICT 2 SPORTS FESTIVAL ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

73hebek7E27960814831183265783. The Lagos State Education District 2 has engaged its students in various sporting activities during this year's Sports Festival.
Held at Lagos State Model College, Igbogbo, Ikorodu area of Lagos. Participants from different schools within the district showcased had students with sporting skills took centre stage.
The Tutor General/Permanent Secretary, Mrs Anike Adekanye Anike stated that the festival was designed to promote sporting activities among schools in the District and to redirect the energy of students towards more healthy and profitable ventures which will help in building their sporting careers. She revealed that Education District 2 annually introduce new sporting events in addition to existing activities.
Anike Adekanye expressed gladness over this year's edition with improvement over the previous years'.
She expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for constantly giving the nod for such inspirational programmes that focus on the total development of the child. While appreciating the Commissioner for Education, Lagos State, Mrs Adefisayo Folasade, saying she is a blessing to every Lagos Student. Adekanye thanked the Local Organizing Committee for their commitment to the successful event.
The high point of the Sports festival was the declaration of the winners and the Presentation of the trophies.
Ikorodu emerged as the Best Zone with 28 Medals
Somolu came 2nd with 13 Medals
While Kosofe finished with 13 Medals
