78fghko1880844862427877129 Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun is a noble son of Egbin, ljede, Gbagbo, and Ikorodu towns. He is a descendant of the Gbarule Royal Family of Egbin Kingdom, a wing of the Obateru Royal Family in the ljede Local Council Development Area. This lineage extends to the Onadugba wing of the Rademo Royal Family of Ikorodu. Through his mother, Hammed also hails from the Ogumuyiwa branch of Ladega Royal Family of ljede, ljede Local Council Development Area. Both of his parents also have ancestral roots in the lgbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area. While his father is of the prominent Aroyewun Family of Perufu in lgbogbo. His mother is from the renowned Odusegun Family of Mokun, Igbogbo. His extended families have strong filiation to the prestigious Abosan and Itunla communities.
Hammed was educated at Methodist Primary School Igbogbo and Zumratul Islamiyah Grammar School Igbogbo. He was trained as a teacher at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education in 2002, He had his undergraduate studies at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-lwoye, Ogun State and was awarded a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2007. He is currently pursuing his master's degree at the University of Lagos, Akoka.
From 2007 to 2008, Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun served the compulsory one-year youth service at the Yobe State Government Secretariat. In 2010, He joined the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Supervisor where he has continuously deployed his skills, charisma, and tireless energy to increase the revenue base of the state. He rose through the ranks to his present level of Senior Revenue Officer.
Hammed picked a keen interest in politics right from his formative years; his alignment has always been with the progressives. He is a strong member of the All Progressives Congress to date. He served diligently as a member of, the Evaluation and monitoring committee, of Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu independent Campaign Group, 2018-2019.
The committee provided quality information that gave impetus to the campaign and that advanced the electioneering activities of Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. He was also screened and nominated by the Ikorodu Division APC Apex body to serve as a commissioner in the present Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu led administration.
He was a member of the lgbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Local Organising Committee (2021) for the election of Senator Tokunbo Abiru as Senator, Lagos East Senatorial District. He is the Youth Leader of Indomitable Tinubu Support Organization (TSO) in lgbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and Youth representative for the IKORODU division at the just concluded national convention.
Hammed has a long track record of community service. He currently serves as Vice Chairman/Director of Programs, DE. Vanguard, a socio-political group domiciled within Ikorodu Division He is a distinguished member of Egbin Emancipated Youth Movement. He is the current Publicity Secretary, Igbogbo Development Association (IDEA) and doubles as a member, of the lgbogbo Day Planning Committee. He is an active member of the Concerned Ikorodu Division Youths. He has served, since 2019, as a member of the organising committee, Igbogbo Youth Coalition and served as Chairman, Electoral Committee, Igbogbo Students' Union.
Hammed is a member of the Association of Economists and Statisticians of Nigeria (AESN), He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
Hammed enjoys public speaking and has focused strongly on motivating young people to imbibe integrity and altruism. He is married with children. Hammed is a practising Muslim. His core focus areas include; Education, Social Welfare, Youth Emancipation Food Security and Community Development. With an Educational theme: Education Empowerment for Poverty Eradication in Ikorodu Constituency 11.
Executed project under Hammed's belt includes; Ikorodu Constituency 1I Education Trust Fund (Undergraduate level and below), Provision of Postgraduate Scholarships, Annual Inter-school education competition (Primary and Secondary Schools), Educational symposium and exhibitions, Empowerment on ICT, Sponsor bills to upgrade Vocational Centre and establish new ones plus Vocational empowerment. On social welfare, Hammed projects to propagate networking with agencies and parastatals of government for the construction, improvement and maintenance of public infrastructure. Regular orientation of youths in Ikorodu Constituency II through an innovative approach to governance. Mobilization and driving youth focus towards entrepreneurship, Developing marketable information technology and vocational skills in youths through a partnership with local and foreign non-governmental organisations with a similar focus. Exploring and developing other unconventional career areas such as Sports and Entertainment as a profitable career option for our teeming youths. Engaging and working in concert with women across all strata of the constituency to enhance their capacity and overall human capacity development.
On youth emancipation, Hammed is poised to Develop and Implement Mentee/Mentor Movement (MMM). Establish the Worldwide Youth Unit in the Constituency Office(s) for connecting the youths Establish - A work foundation that seeks to make all youths have work to do. Termly study before social orientation campaign for school boys and girls. Establish Bi-annual Leadership Training Sessions in the constituency tagged: Making 21st-century leaders. Sponsor motions/bills for the establishment/rehabilitation were necessary and proper maintenance of youth Centres in all LGA and LCDAs of the state. Community Development and food security ljede/Imota/lgbogbo Beautification Initiative Project. Ikorodu Constituency ll sports meet, Facilitation of Rural and Agricultural extension services. Maintenance of cultural sites eg., Palaces. Bring back our Garri Project; Cultivation, processing. packaging using cottage systems in ljede, Imota and lgbogbo/Baiyeku LCDAs Facilitation of training and empowerment for constituents on the poultry value chain. Work out Joint arrangements with three LCDA Chairmen on sustainable potable water provision and Regular stakeholder meetings (to be rotated between lgbogbo, lede, and Imota).
