In a manifesto released on the 11th of April 2022 to Ikorodu News Network (INN), Comrade Babatunde Akandri Sayleke, an aspirant gunning for Ikorodu constituency 1 at the Lagos state house of assembly is vowing to reposition Ikorodu youth for global recognition & educational support to pupils & students such as bursary, scholarships etc.
According to Comrade Sayleke, his quality representation at the assembly house for Ikorodu constituency 1 will provide Consistent meeting with CDA/ CDC, community leaders/stakeholders. Consistent briefing/updates of our amiable political leaders & constituents. Attraction of viable constituency Projects, & involving our people & monitoring to ensure the project are adequately delivered.
He continued, “Financial, Infrastructural support to market men & women and Business support to artisians, SME’s business owners. Social supports to the senior citizens, Provision of adult scholarly projects, Support for traditional rulers & promotion of our cultural heritage and Special provision for people with special needs will be thoroughly boosted” Comrade Babatunde Sayleke asserted
Presently the Director General of Honourable Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina Campaign Organisation (WADESH), Hon Sayleke helped secured the second term for the returning Executive Chairman Ikorodu Local Government, Honourable Wasiu Adesina, accomplished against all odds.

Born in Lagos Island Hospital, Comrade Sayleke was raised by his mother and grandmother in Afinju Adaba Compound in ljomu, Ikorodu. Attended various educational Institutions, Including United High School, Ikorodu, Community Grammar School Gberigbe (for his Senior Secondary Certificate) and Federal Polytechnic, Bida Niger State (Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management in 2006/2007).
Responding to the call to serve at Kurmin, Kogi Primary School, Kaduna State as a youth corper, “My scholarly craving and pursuit inspired me to enrol as a graduate member of Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) immediately after my NYSC. I also proceeded to Lagos State University (LASU) for a Post Graduate Programme (PGD), subsequently bagging a Masters degree in Public Administration from Lautech at Ladoke Akintola university of technology Ogbomosho” Comrade Sayleke concluded
