As the 2nd quarter of 2022 begins to elapse, Ikorodu division has already had its share of losing its leaders to the cold scripts of death, leading one to think if leaders are duly appreciated for their immense contributions to community development in totality.
Aarebirin Honourable Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba (Vice-Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government and Supervisor for Education) in her Easter message to Ikorodu News Network (INN) on the 16th of April 2022, emphasised the need for leaders to be well appreciated while they are still alive.
She stated that a community grows based on collective effort, but the mood of leaders can impact the entire growth of the community. More than ever, culture is a competitive differentiator, and a key part of attracting, engaging and ultimately retaining leaders.
