First Nigeria female police officer to wear hijab honoured at the Ramadan Public Lecture of Oriwu Central Mosque, Ikorodu.

According to a post on it’s official Facebook page on the 17th of April 2022, Inspector Idoko Eucharia Alimat from Enugu State accepted Islam a few years ago and submitted herself totally to the dictates of the Deen.

Oniwasi Agbaye, Shaykh Muyideen Bello commended her for the feat, congratulated her and offered her prayer.
Admonishing female Muslims in the force to follow her example as well as her good conduct.

Chief Imam Jamiu of Oriwu Central Mosque, Ikorodu, His Eminence Shaykh Yahya Olorunoshebi Oshoala Ajagbemokeferi As-Samadaani was also lauded for his role in the hijab usage emancipation in the police force.
