Ikorodu constituency 1 aspirant racing for the Lagos state house of assembly seat, Hon Gafaar Oluwatoyin Bolowotan has advised party patriots to desist from abusing Ikorodu’s apex leader and former Lagos state DG, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye.
In a statement issued on the 27th of April 2022 via Ikorodu News Network (INN) WhatsApp platform, the preceding Lagos state sports commission DG implored all adherents to give esteem to whom it’s due regardless of everyone’s political interests.
Bolowotan proceeded, “I want to use this medium to appeal to all our supporters and other party faithful to desist from casting aspersions on our party leaders and other elders in our dear Ikorodu.
“Particularly, everyone should stop the insults on our Apex leader, my father, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye who has remained steadfast and committed to the growth of our party in Ikorodu, Lagos and indeed, Nigeria”
“Baba remains a father figure to us all irrespective of our interests. This era is a season of politicking and we are all participants, everyone is qualified to contest. We shouldn’t have issues with people who chose to put themselves forward for elective positions as we have also done”
“I will always be a loyal party member who holds the party in high regard and have respect for orderliness”
“Please stop using abusive words in any manner on anybody, let’s put a stop to this immediately. We are APC, we are ONE!” Hon Gafaar Bolowotan Asserted
Prince Abiodun Ogunleye is the father of one of the current Ikorodu constituency 1 candidates vying for the Lagos state house of assembly, Gbolahan Ogunleye.
