The classy ceremony which took place at the megalite event centre, igbe bus stop at Igbogbo baiyeku LCDA also saw the official launch of the retired major's book titled 'Adelunke Ogunmuyiwa, My Birth, My Root, My Life ~ The Footprints of a Resilient Major'.
With a special cultural presentation by Ila-Orangun cultural troupe, a milestone statement about the celebrant was given by Prof. Richard Olaniyan from Obafemi Awolowo University (ile-ife) with his book review and presentation served by Prof. Rotimi Animashaun (who also highlighted the life and projections of Prince Adekunle Ogunmuyiwa).
Chairman of the occasion, Basorun Rotinwa in his commencement remarks stated that Prince Adekunle is a role model whose leadership approach should be emulated.
Basorun continued, "We're not just here to celebrate with Prince Adekunle for all his achievements, we're here to identify with him as a pacesetter, whose journey reflects tenacity, passion and perseverance"
