TUMEA 2022: COMMUNITY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL WINS MAIDEN EDITION OF TUMEA, AROWOLO HONOURS ASIPA KAOLI ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

89997yygh7E2363676575568148065. The maiden edition of the TUMEA intellectual competition initiated and sponsored by Hon. MKO Arowolo (councillor representing Owode-Ibeshe ward 4) took place at the excellence hall of Kith 'N' Kin college in Ibeshe on the 14th of July 2022.
Organised to mark the 70th birthday of Ikorodu Apex leader, Chief Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, the event gave open doors for both public and private schools in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA to brainstorm for the finest scholars to be discovered.
Graced by the apex leader himself, Vice-Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba among other notable dignitaries, the contest was segmented into the mathematics and English language sections for 4 hours. With professional timekeepers and officials coordinating the quiz at different levels, the stage played host to Living stone college, Great Omega school, Fulfilment College, Radiant group of schools, Kith 'n' Kin college, Keme Balogun high school and Community senior high school.
When the dust settled after a long robust bout in both categories, Community senior high school Baiyeku emerged 1st position in the mathematics competition with 25points, Great Omega school came up 2nd with 20 points while Keme Balogun clinched the 3rd spot with 15 points. In the English language category, Kith 'n' Kin's Idris Akinpelumi stood tall with the 1st position, Sulaimon Grace from Community senior high school came 2nd while Akingbamila Inioluwa from Great Omega school snatched the 3rd position.
During the cash price and gift item presentation, Hon. MKO Arowolo expressed his delight in seeing the winner of the competition (community senior high school) arising from outside his ward.
Deciphering on the notion, "For a public school to defeat all private schools in the category, it indicates that more potential can be tapped from the public school students if they stay focused".
He continued, "Those in the first position in this maiden edition have automatically become our ambassadors for successive editions. Their faces will be utilised in creating our contents and posters for the year 2023 edition".
"I will also ensure to sponsor jamb examination for all winners".
"The essence of this competition is to project the capacity and sagacity of our beloved apex leader, Chief Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, whose love and support for education knows no boundary".
"I am using this maiden edition to honour our father and be rest assured that this tradition to discover the finest brains across Igbogbo baiyeku LCDA will continue" Hon. Arowolo asserted
Upon returning as councillor for his second term, Hon. MKO Arowolo became the chairman house committee on youth, education and sports.
