ASIWAJU TV, a Lagos-based political-oriented media outlet is set to launch its digital platforms at the start of the 4th quarter in 2022 to allow citizens to gain access to the political trajectory of the 2023 presidential election.
The digital platform dubbed ‘VISION 2023’ was developed according to its initiator, Comrade Akadri Adeleke Babatunde ‘Sayleke’, to deal with the gap between the government, People, Politics and beneficial service delivery.
Explaining the purpose of the ‘VISION 2023’, Comrade Sayleke said in an announcement released, “In Nigeria, voters are inspired to work for the candidate or political party whose campaign promises agree with their social, economic, and political needs. But are always dissatisfied when these pledges are not maintained”.
“ASIWAJU TV, in a bid to promote the visionary plans of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2023 presidential elections, seeks to increase the rate of the fulfilment of campaign promises among political office holders and Nigerians in general”.
Sayleke further elucidated that the ASIWAJU TV digital platform will leverage technology to articulate political promises which are made during political campaigns.
“This is a strategic media platform, to coalesce brilliant political minds and leaders from the grassroots to the top echelon in pointing out keys areas to improve governance and develop a promising Nigerian society”
“The criterion is not only focused on addressing transparency and accountability but also on citizens’ concentration and participation in Nigeria Politics, helping citizens to make informed decisions”.
He surmised that a core mandate of the drive is to establish a strong synergy, aligning with the conception of APC’s presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Nigeria to eradicate deficiency and disastrous administration”.
