Miss Oranu Angel Biana, winner of the maiden edition of Miss Arts Nigeria 2022 was hosted by the pageant/ reality show organiser, Oshodi Arts Gallery on the 2nd of August 2022.
Chaperoned by 2nd runner-up, Miss Adelakun Omotalani, Miss Balogun Comfort (Miss Arts Unity) and Miss Precious Abidemi (Miss Arts Natural), the beauty queens were amassed by Dr Oshodi Seyi Paul, CEO of Oshodi Arts Gallery.
Hailing the queen for emerging first, Dr Oshodi Paul iterated plans forward to kick off the project ambassadorial crusade, synchronising Arts and beauty.
Expanding that the winners would engage in charity works, including visits to tourist sites, old people’s homes and orphanages, in Lagos and across other states in Nigeria.
Urging the beauty queen to prepare for an adequate self-advancement quest (infusing Arts), which also includes initiatives to sensitise the youths on the dangers of drug abuse and ways to prevent it, Dr Oshodi promised to support the activities in whatever capacity needed to ensure its success for one year.
Miss Angel Biana, who spoke on behalf of the queens promised her commitment to the course, enlarging that her creative prowess will be an enormous advantage for the synergy to thrive.
“I am ready to go all out as the winner of Miss Arts Nigeria 2022, though am not an Art expert, am ready to learn on the go. Once you have the lid spotted on your head, you feel like a queen, you walk differently, you stand differently and you act differently”.
“I understand the expectation and the huge responsibility. So, amassing that knowledge, I want to assist those that look up to me to make the right choices and decisions about their future; about certain things they want to do”.
“There is also a planned initiative I include to ‘Catch them young, which I will project in partnership with Oshodi Arts Gallery Foundation to empower the young minds in their skill-sets” Miss Angel asserted
Members of the Miss Arts Nigeria 2022 pageant production team, Fanafilit integrated concept were also in attendance at the official hosting event.
