In the past 12 months, the School has made a lot of achievements. The School won the 1st position in the Lagos State 2022 Spelling Bee Competition, thus producing the 2022 One-day Governor. Also, the School produced the LASMUN 2022 UN Secretary-General.

A student of the school won the Best Overall Award from the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture.

Organised Essay Competition for the International Day of Forest. She won the 1st position in the ANCOPSS Schools Debate Competition and the 2nd position in the Education District 2 Indigenous Food Cooking Competition.

In the Year 2021, Oriwu Senior Model College came first in ANCOPSS Schools Debate Competition, a winner of the Lagos State Egg drop Schools Challenge, took 1st position in the NUT organised Mathematics Competition, 1st position in the Environmental Bees Club sensitisation Competition in Ikorodu Division, 1st position in the Lagos State World Food Day Competition, 1st and 2nd positions in the NIPOST Essay Competition (lkorodu Zone and 5th position in the NIPOST Essay Competition (Lagos State).

The School came 1st in the Spelling Bee competition (lkorodu Zone), 2nd position in the ijebu Dialect Debate Competition, 1st position in the Ikorodu Food Cooking Competition, 1st position in the Education District 2 Robotic Competition (Senior School Category), won a silver medal in the 8oom District 2 Sports Competition and 3rd position in the Lagos State Qur’an Quiz Competition (Senior Secondary Schools category), all in 2021.

Recently, the school also got; 1st position 2022 Lagos state spelling bee competition (one day governor), LASMUN 2022-UN secretary-general, 2022 Lagos state ministry of Agriculture, International day of forest (essay competition best overall), 2022 Lagos state ministry of agriculture international day of forest (essay competition best).
