Members of Ikorodu Diamond Lions club have paraphrased commitment to societal advancement in a brief indebted visit to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ikorodu Command.
Received by the Area Commander, FRSC Ikorodu Area command, Mr James O. Balogun, the stop date on the 10th of August 2022 with members of the voluntary organisation present to demonstrate their support.
According to the club’s President, Lion Akadri Babatunde Adeleke ‘Sayleke’, the meeting was essential to establish an enabling atmosphere for safety personnel in achieving their duties of securing the safety of lives, necessary for societal and business progressions in Ikorodu division.
Lion Sayleke dwelled more on the economic importance of safety feats which he said were inexpensive when correlated to the reserves expended in attending to and recouping from disaster.
Pledging a support synergy with the safety corps to extend their humanitarian deeds as a club, Lion Sayleke added that benevolence can only be directed to living beings.
Amassing the club’s presence, Area Commander, FRSC, Ikorodu, Mr James Balogun, applauded the club for always being committed to the safety and well-being of Nigerians in their consistent service to humanity agenda.
He vowed to ensure the synergy between the corps and club sees the light of day, later soliciting the club to accompany the corps in visiting accident victims.
“What we’re accomplishing today is very vital to human lives in Ikorodu division. People are craved for the economy and certainly for the nation to prosper” Mr Balogun added.
The club later pinned the Area commander with her prestigious clamp, symbolising an affluent relationship ahead.
