Imota Students’ Union is set to organise the year 2022 transformational schools sensitisation program for Secondary Schools Across its LCDA.
The program which previously reached out to approximately 5000 students in 2021 positively gained enormous testimonies from students, teachers and principals of various schools toured.
Set to take off once again in 2022, touching on key topics including propelling academic excellence, the effect of peer groups and the substantial use of the internet, media with the sole aim of tackling the effect of social media and its advantageous use for the personal building as a student, poor academics performance and effect of peer group resulting to community turmoil, incited among students thereafter jeopardizing the future leaders.
Citing education as the bedrock of development, The Union, in addition, provides scholars within its bloc and invites speakers with a vast focus on topics, acquainting them on priorities highlighted, thus, bringing forth favourable transformation to their lives.
The program is scheduled to run from the 12th to the 30th of September 2022 from 10am to 12pm in secondary schools across the local community development area.
