Topnotch service to humanity based club, Ikorodu metropolitan lions club saw the changing of its leadership guard on the 2nd of October 2022 at the Oluwatosin Lions Activity centre in Owode-Ibeshe road.
Lion Ibrahim Lasisi becomes the 19th president of the club for year 2022 to 2023 calender extension.
The new president, chaperoned with his newly installed executives promised to live up to expectations with effective support from its volunteer members.
According to Lion Lasisi, “Under my administration, the club will build on the existing standard of the club, to establish a good interpersonal relationship with all the members”.
He continued, “My leadership will effectively manage the meeting time, and ensure to organise Lecture at every business meeting of our esteemed club”.
“I will ensure to effect membership retention and extension, and to also organise fortnight online lectures to increase the knowledge of our members”
Lion Lasisi further added that his plans is to raise substantial amount of money to carry out core projects.
His succession came through from the productive tenure of Lion Babatunde Shobowale, who was president of the club from 2021 to 2022 lions calender year.
The installation process was carried out by DG Lion Anogwi Anyanwu and attended by Lion Shakirudeen Adeniyi Balogun, 2nd vice district governor, Lion Ahmed Ajayi, former president Ikorodu metro lions club, Lion Adefunke Esan, Lion Prince Tunji Oredipe amongst others.
