Bldr. Olusesan Daini, the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA held the period review with thirteen (13) Head teachers across Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
Mrs Olugbemi Mojisola who spoke on her behalf thanked the Executive Chairman for the provision of desks and chairs, white maker boards, Smart Mower for cutting grasses, extra monthly running cost, perimeter fencing for a conducive learning environment and other learning materials across the LCDA.
The head teachers attended the meeting with official requests of what their respective schools are lacking which will be getting urgent attention from the Chairman.
Mr Amusa Afolarin, Executive Secretary Ikorodu LGA appreciates the Chairman’s sterling performance on primary education, and then made a specific request for a block of classrooms in Oreta Local Government Primary School.
In his response, the Executive Chairman thanked the head teachers for making primary education a glorious experience in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
He then set up a committee headed by Vice Chairman, Hon. Nuraini Okedina-Maja who is doubled as a supervisor for Education and Library Matters; a representative from the office of the Executive Secretary, Ikorodu LGA; Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, Councilor representing Ward C1; representative of the Education Department, two representatives from Olu-odo family and Chairman of the CDA where the school is located to meet the State Universal Basic Education Board standard’s (SUBEB) requirements to begin enrollment of pupils in Olu-odo Community Primary School as soon as possible.
Finally, the executive Chairman personally donated a 5kva Generator to special pupils at Methodist primary school as part of his private contribution to the special pupils class.
