3838h3j3n7E25984885006222720839. Kicking off on the 6th of October, the secondary school's awareness journey of Imota Students Union finally came to an end with three schools approached consecutively.
Comr. Ogunbowale Olatayo Bodunrin, president of Imota Students' Union facilitated on the focus Academic Excellence. He enjoined the students to appreciate parents for the relief then he gave out academic tips to attain success.
Comrade Ogunbowale later gave out a relative number of illustrations and practical instances for reading and studying. Miss. Paulina Idris, a student of Unilorin analysed the Effect of Peer Groups on students with a short drama presentation on how students can be influenced and lured into negative acts. She concluded the session by instructing students to write sentences with some phrase words given to them as motivation on their personality, not be discouraged by peers or anyone. The third Session, handled by Amb. Kehinde Daniel, a student of Lagos State University, spoke at length on the Substantial Use of Social Media. He talked about having a personality in the media that depicts responsible selves, using the internet for academic purposes, utilising tools for connecting with the right people and using media as a tool for unlimited study materials for seeking help academically. Then, on the 7th of October, Comr. Adenusi Olamide, Comr. Olapade Mayowa and Comr. Lasisi touched down on the last school to unleash the three focuses of the program.
The sessions came to an end with a warm appreciation from the school management to the union with an award of service certificate presented to the facilitators.
