The ongoing rehabilitation of Ijede road stretching from Oke-Eletu inward Ijede road junction, which commenced two weeks ago, is in speedy progress.
Addressing the issue of flooding on the road, a culvert has been created at Idera Junction, a spot identified as a significant aisle of flood reservoir.
According to reports, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba has deemed it important to ensure the road is motorable for all and sundry.
Appreciating the cooperation and support of all residents and shop owners; for understanding, the council boss implored dwellers to be patient as the council works towards the completion of the road.
