In a yet-to-be-released exclusive interview by Asiwaju Online TV, Chief Mrs Erelu Titilayo Ogunnubi, founder of Elizabeth Ebun Dynamic widows empowerment foundation has stated that women in Diaspora for Asiwaju meets once every 15 days in a bid to propel APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria.
Speaking to the media firms presenter, Mrs Adejoke Oni, Chief Erelu, A Nigerian born philanthropist based in Chicago conveyed her utmost sanguinity towards the current political trajectory, adding that the former Governor of Lagos state has encountered his ready time to rule Nigeria.
According to her, the APC presidential flag bearer has over time delivered, and proven in his track record a capable portfolio, strong enough to handle the affairs of the Nation in all sectors.
She continued, “We have the women in diaspora group for Asiwaju, and also the women in diaspora for APC, with lots of other groups casting the same course”.
“Committing our money, time, prayers and most especially, we’re ready to vote for Tinubu. Mind you, No women? No vote! we’re more active now than ever before”.
“Like come on! We have nothing to lose but everything to gain if Asiwaju becomes President of Nigeria, so why won’t we vote for him? Who else are we to vote for?” She asked.
“My philosophy presently? If you don’t vote for APC? Don’t even say Hello to me!” Chief Erelu asserted, elucidating that even her foundation harbours only widows with permanent voters cards (PVC).
According to her, women without PVC are not welcome in her organisation, because it is perceived as ignorance of their willpower to provide adequate management.
Furthermore, Chief Erelu explained that Tinubu’s style of governance gives room to a transparent modus operandi, which can handily be challenged if things are not getting on right.
“Asiwaju has a kind of open-door policy that we can easily question, that’s why I am voting for him. A lot of us in the diaspora want to come back home and feel safe again. We’re scared to come back. Most times, some return and die in a few days……..” She added.
The exclusive interview is slated to be released on the last weekend of November 2022 on the online news agency’s social media platforms (Asiwaju Online TV).
