I Am honoured to be elected as the Chairman at this stage of our development and I appreciate our member's confidence reposed in me for this responsibility. I am putting up with the responsibility for commitment because there is much to do within a short period. First and foremost, it is time for The Exclusives to take up our foremost social club in Ikorodu Division. This must be done with dedication and accountability. To this end, we want to resume our obligation and participation in the activities of the Ikorodu Oga Development Association and other community associations in which our members are movers. Further to this, we will increase our community intervention activities, strengthening therapeutic lessons for school leavers and actions which I will discuss in detail at the general meeting. The State-of-Ikorodu will be a formal part of the agenda of our monthly meetings to enable us to focus on issues of the community and intervene when necessary. The ideals of the club must a maintained. I have secured the commitment of every Executive Committee to reach out to members who are lagging while I have a personal ambition to enlarge the membership without compromising the standards. My administration will mobilise the members to work on the Secretariat project and set a target of achieving it as soon as possible. It is pertinent to mention that we're ready to move with media technology by hosting The Exclusives website which will not lack quality content. There is no intention of changing the model of The Exclusives, but the dynamics must change and the preeminence of its membership should reflect without winking in the dark. There must be discipline and we must celebrate ourselves. The new Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr Said Sanusi SAN will have his reception in due course. By the grace of God, there will continue to be great things to celebrate. I must thank my predecessors, from the founding Chairman, Dr Bolaji Ajenifuja, OFR (now Patron) to the outgoing Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Allison, for the tremendous work done to put up such an image that we all enjoy. I hereby seek your support and the support of all members going forward. The Board of Trustees is a worthy institution by its membership. We intend to tap into you. Finally, as activities define institutions, I urge us to rededicate to The Exclusives, It will pay off. May God continue to bless us and our respective families and friends.

13 PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS IN IKORODU RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIP AT OLORI KUDIRAT ABOSEDE SHOTOBI EDUCATIONAL AID PROGRAM ®™√ INN Nigeria © oo9877ujkjh6760847206852901613 In a bid to secure promising future, the 6th edition of Olori kudirat Abosede Shotobi's Christmas celebration was held at the palace of the Ayangbure of Ikorodu kingdom on the 24th of December 2022. The program which doubled as an educational scholarship scheme, gave room and better opportunities to brilliant students in public schools across the waterbed region. Aimed at appreciating the numerous efforts of Parents, Teachers and Students during the yuletide, it hosted Baales, Oloyes, Osugbo erelus, Cabinet members of Olori Kudirat Abosede committee, Ayangbure in-council, Local government education authority, coaches from Ayangbure speeling bees competition among others. Bags, mathematical sets and dictionaries were provided by the organisers and was presented to both students with scholarships and other attending pupils. The program originally launched with 5 students benefiting from the scholarship scheme in honour of Dr Temitope Oshikoya, former Deputy Governor, Central Bank Of Nigeria. As the pupils gained elevation into secondary education, the goodwill course thrived with more assistance flocking in from diverse quotas. In her official welcome address, Olori Kudirat Abosede Shotobi, expressed gratitude to her husband, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, for his support and steadfast encouragement. Complimenting headteachers, teachers, schools, corporate bodies, Companies, Chiefs, Families and Friends for also supporting the program with gifts and money, she prayed for continuous provision to further the course. Olori Kudirat continued, "Christmas is a season of sharing and re-uniting with families and friends to exchange gifts. It is a very special season of love and an opportunity for us to reach out to the less privileged, give aid to the poor and make those around us happy". "It is meant for us to touch lives and positively affect our society as we gather to also celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ". "The celebration of Christmas is dedicated to our children the leaders of tomorrow; we need to cheer them up and make it a fun-filled season by filling their hearts with happiness and joy". Advising parents to take good care of their children, monitor their activities and watch who they relate with, Olori Kudirat further urged guardians not to be carried away with the festive period, asserting that everyone should be observant and filled with security consciousness at all times. Representing Education District 2 in Ikorodu, Mr Amusa Afolabi, lauded the paramount ruler and his wife for taking education as a priority under his rulership. Highlighting strategic roles the king took advantage of to aid academic perfection, Mr Afolabi expressed his appreciation to the king for always granting the requests of his jurisdiction whenever needs arise. He further urged the king to support in rehabilitation of some dilapidated schools. In his contributions, the Kabiesi, HRM, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, disclosed to Ikorodu News Network (INN) that the empowerment program is for the less privilege students in public schools, organised by his wife which has been effective for six years. "On this edition, the support we got from Kith N Kin schools has allowed us to empower 13 students from Js1 to Ss3, which has been designated to a trust fund". "Tindep schools and Strong tower academy also played a role in making this scholarship program possible, as beneficiaries now has the opportunity to be supported even to the university level". "Prior to this stage, an interview was conducted by the executive secretary personnels of public schools in Ikorodu, and with about 65 public primary schools, the consultation was carefully carried out, with emerging students presented to Kith N Kin school to fulfil our scholarship promise" the King noted. On the renovation of schools, the king told the Education Secretary, Mr Amusa Afolabi, that a Lions club in Ikorodu is ready to assist in the upgrading of schools. He requested the Education District 2 exco member to secure an approval letter from SUBEB in order for the schools to get the needed support. The King concluded his statements by urging other well meaning individuals to join the course in giving back to the community via education. Prior to the presentation of scholarships and gift items to the students, Rotimi Erogbogbo, chairman Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS), exhorted the children to be good ambassador, letting them know the program is organised specially for them. He clarified the value of parenthood, asking them to pay attention to their parents and teacher who moulds them to become great leaders. He further urged parents and teachers to be better caretakers of the children. Otunba Ayodele Elesho, in his vote of thanks credited the Olori for her kind gesture, encouraging the children to focus on increasing their academic ability. He told the students that the kabiesi became who he is because of his educational qualifications, adding that pupils should never rule out what they stand to gain if they take their studies seriously. An award of excellence was presented to Olori Kudirat Abosede Shotobi by the Lagos Government Education Authority for her contributions towards educational development in Ikorodu. The program ended with the cutting of the cake and photo sessions with dignitaries in attendance. Beautiful leaders and members of Egbe Gbogeniyi of Ikorodu Kingdom graced the grand finale of the Ikorodu Oga Day Celebration on the 19th of November 2022. Stunning in native attire at Ikorodu Ultra-modern Town Hall, the faction was founded by Mrs Abimbola Gbadamosi (a.k.a Moyashau) with four of her friends on August 25th, 2015. After undertaking official consultations, the group met with HRM, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, Ayangburen of Ikorodu, who named the denomination, 'Gbogeniyi Of Ikorodu Kingdom', after bestowing royal prayers and blessings on the group. The faction subsequently honoured Alhaja Chief Sannu Modupeola aka Shine-Shine, dubbed Yeye Gbogeniyi, as a life Matron due to her constant assistance. With just four members from its inception, the association now harbours more than thirty fellows both at home and in the diaspora.

RE: DON’T ARREST ANY MOTORIST, SANWO-OLU WARNS LASTMA ®™√ INN Nigeria © fb img 16863785586661705408803098953377 The attention of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has been drawn to the recurring fake news circulating on social media, purported to have been said by the Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu that, "Henceforth no LASTMA Officials should arrest any motorist, either commercial or private. LASTMA must manage traffic and not arrest". A statement released by the Director, of the Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, Mr Adebayo Taofiq said the General Manager of the Agency, Mr Bolaji Oreagba had previously debunked the fake online news which had alleged that LASTMA Officials were banned from arresting motorists who flout the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law, 2018. Mr Oreagba explained that the false report, which is the handiwork of faceless mischief makers, has been repeatedly circulated online since February 2020 despite being severally refuted by the management of LASTMA. He warned Lagosians, especially motorists, to be wary of online reports aimed at causing chaos and mischief within the society. "I wonder why some individuals choose to always mislead others to contravene the traffic law of the State as amended by the State House of Assembly in 2018", he noted. General Manager hinted that part of the Agency's responsibility is to uphold and enforce the traffic laws of the State, maintaining that the officers and men of LASTMA will not hesitate to enforce those laws whenever violated to transform the State's transportation system towards ensuring the free flow of traffic and reducing road accidents. According to him, "The motoring public is advised to ignore and disregard all fake news circulated by faceless individuals and designed to lead them into breaking the traffic law of the State". He stated further that all working ethics of the Authority, including its operations, are being regulated by the State's Laws. General Manager confirmed that the Agency is currently operating with modern technological innovations in addressing traffic challenges by equipping traffic management personnel with new hand-held Traffic Management Solution (TMS) devices that capture real-time traffic violations on the road, in addition to a signalised intersection and junction improvement. While thanking all road users for their support and cooperation with LASTMA which has culminated in the reduction in travel time, Oreagba, however, advised motorists to call any of the Agency's hotlines (08100565860, 08129928503 & 08129928597) for any inquiry or clarification on the activities of the Agency.

AYANGBURE OF IKORODU KINGDOM RECEIVES KICC FOUNDER, MATHEW ASHIMOLOWO, CHURCH PLANS TO PROVIDE 60 MILLION NAIRA WORTH OF MEDICAL AID AT IKORODU MEGA-CONVENTION ®™√ INN Nigeria © 9098uijggyuu424246991497298322 The Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom, HRM, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, received the founder of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo at his palace on the 8th of June 2023. Pastor Ashimolowo, who's also the President of Christ Compassion To The Rural World, paid a courtesy visit to the paramount ruler of the waterbed region in Lagos State, with plans to organise an international convention on the last quatre of 2023. Approximately 80 communities in the central axis of Ikorodu Central were fully represented at the palace, culminating with high chiefs, Ayangbure-in-council, and baales. Olori Abosede Kudirat Shotobi, wife of HRM, Sat by the side of the king as Ikorodu received the foremost clergyman. Welcoming the Founder and his delegates, Otunba Ayodele Elesho, special aid to the king, described the visit as a moment of joy to see Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo back in Ikorodu. He said, "We learnt that your missionary career started here in Ikorodu many years ago, and we're pleased to see God bringing you back, not only to see us but also to come and advance the Kingdom of God here". "From the information I've gathered, the International convention to be organised by KICC in Ikorodu is a pleasant and laudable idea, which we're looking forward to amassing with open arms". "We want to let you know that every assistance you need which the palace can provide, on behalf of the Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom, Consider it done!" Otunba Elesho affirmed. Elesho also said that the palace will not just support the convention physically, but will also join the church in prayers to ensure the program ends up successful. Before speaking about the program, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo reminded everyone that he had lived in Ikorodu 49years ago and left the waterbed region some 47years ago, adding that it's a great feeling to be able to come back, and this time with the good news of Jesus Christ to touch the city. Illustrating the program proper to the King and all present at the palace, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, said the assignment which is billed to undertake a major outreach in the Ikorodu division was placed in his heart by God after 3years of fervent prayers. According to him, the program which will run for 7 consecutive days will provide welfare packages to cater to 50,000 residents in Ikorodu. Food items, clothes and educational gadgets for students will also be disbursed during the week-long program. He continued, "Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), during the program, will support 200-300 families requiring medical operations with free surgeries at Ikorodu General Hospital". "60 million naira worth of prescription drugs will be doled out to residents after people have been diagnosed to know the right medication needed". Pastor Matthew illustrated that the last Saturday of the program will be a medical affair where Igbogbo Stadium (the venue for the convention) will be converted into an open hospital to cater for health-challenged individuals. And on that same Saturday night, there will be a major evening crusade. "We're aware that Igbogbo Stadium is still under construction as we speak, but before coming here, we had a meeting with the Lagos State Government, and we've been told that the stadium will be completed by September, before the program set date (in November)". "Nigeria is at a crossroads and we're going through a lot of challenges, we must bring help, relief and blessing to the people in Ikorodu" Pastor Ashimolowo asserted Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo later presented 'The Power Of Positive Prayers', a book he authored that contains 15,000 prayer points to the King. His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom, in his speech, thanked Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo for coming to Ikorodu, calling the day remarkable. Oba Kabiru said though Pastor Ashimolowo found his way back to Ikorodu, He (the King) has been peeking to meet with the clergyman for quite some time. He continued, "When Pastor Adeboye, founder of the Redeem Christian Church of God came to Ikorodu for a special program, I requested he prayed for LASPOTECH to become a University, he did and it came to pass". "Later, when Pastor Folorunsho Kumuyi of Deeper Life Church visited Ikorodu for another special program, I requested he prayed for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become the next President of Nigeria, he did and today we have him as President". "For our dear Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, I only have one request for him, he should pray for us that the next Governor of Lagos State should come from Ikorodu because we're long overdue for it". The King also suggested that the venue for the convention be shifted to LASUSTECH to have a bigger space. Pastor Ashimolowo subsequently gave reasons as to why the church decided to use Igbogbo Stadium. Oba Shotobi prayed for the church to continue to expand across the globe, adding that Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo should make KICC more visible in Ikorodu. Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS) Chairman, Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo gave the closing remarks by appreciating Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo for allowing God to direct him back to Ikorodu, asserting that the entire division will be gazing ahead to work with his positive course. Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo was accompanied by; Pastor Wole Oladiyun, Chief Mrs Folukemi Olusanya, Rev. Dr Janet Onaolapo, Rev.
