Aarebirin Folashade, who’s also the Executive Vice-Chairman of Ikorodu local government in a message to Ikorodu News Network (INN), advised Nigerians to appreciate God’s extraordinary affection and divine intervention in keeping the nation one, despite numerous situations in 2022.
According to her, “We must consider every point in life as yet another profound opportunity to strife for greater chances, and everyone must appreciate God for the renewed hope we’ve found today”.
In her words, Princess Folashade underscored the importance of living together as one, substantiating that the timeless love of God has kept the country in unity.
She proceeded, “Remaining steadfast in praying for the peace, love, unity, security and progress of our beloved nation as we press towards a better year ahead is the way to go”.
“Most especially as we transit into another democratic dispensation through the 2023 general elections.”
“Our poise to stay resolute in beseeching for the country should be a focal point for all citizens at this yuletide season, even as we merry with our families” she said.
Princess Folashade, Global Director general of the Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors movement (ADAM), asserted that Nigerians should prevail in their dedication and commitment to serving the motherland with passion and creativity.
“Just like we have a performing Governor in Lagos state, His Excellency, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who has proven over time in all his responsibilities to transform the fabric of Lagos, we must emulate leaders with traits that foster development”.
Mr Governor, a product of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, makes it clear that our renewed hope should also bring us closer to fine administrators like our distinguished Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Hon. Babajimi Benson (MHR) and others propelling good governance”.
“That’s why heading to 2023, we must give room to capable leaders like Asiwaju to take charge of the helms of affairs, which will restructure the growth phase of our nation“.
“One thing I’ve learnt as a student of the system is understanding that the fear of God and hard work, is a tempo of peace and good governance, which can eventually recover the nation from the economic and security challenges we face” she inferred.
In conclusion, the women leader instructed Nigerians to get their PVC ready to vote for viable political prospects under the All Progressive Congress (APC) umbrella, who have demonstrated themselves to bring positive change to the nation come 2023 general elections.
