Creating open channels for contributors within the community to assist the government in enhancing healthcare service delivery, Hon. Wasiu Adesina takes synergy to another level.
The council boss on the 6th of January 2023, steered his team to Adisa Ababa PHC, to receive items; Long patient benches, Standing Fans, and other relief materials donated by the Association to the health centre, enhancing its service.
Made up of competent selves from numerous progressive sectors in the community, the GOF care project launched its annual Operation Fill the Gap support scheme to contribute its quota to community growth.
Speaking before officiating the presentation of relief items, Hon. Wasiu Adesina appreciated the GOF association for their generosity and straightforward gesticulation.
Exhorting them to do more in enriching a healthy society, Adesina seized the medium to call on other capable individuals in the local government to join such a charitable course.
He continued, “I want to thank our frequent collaborator, the Good Old Friends (GOF) for supporting Adisa Ababa Health Centre in Ikorodu LG, anyone that takes health as a priority is helping in the interest of humanity”.
“The council is the closest tool to the grassroots and we know where residents feel it the most, so am wielding this platform to advise other well-meaning stakeholders to fund a related course of this nature because the government cannot do it by itself”.
“A collaboration between us and private philanthropists is welcomed,” Adesina said.
Asserting that his council-manager should take a record of the Good Old Friends association and enlist them into the council’s good book for record purposes of recognition.
“The State has to be aware of the goodwill gesture of GOF care project, aid like this need acknowledgements from distinct quotas”.
Adesina further urged the benefiting mothers present at the health centre to also partake in the electoral process by getting their PVCs to vote during the elections.
