Seyi Tinubu, All Progressive Congress APC’s Presidential Candidate’s Son, on Saturday was in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, for engagements, which included the presentation of an ambulance donated by Youth Mandate Group to the state specialists hospital.
Mr Tinubu’s visit to Maiduguri, the APC Vice-Presidential candidate Kashim Shettima’s hometown was hosted by Youth Mandate Group.
He also took part in a community engagement program that included a final of a football tournament at the Elkanami warriors sports centre, Maiduguri where Team Asiwaju emerged as the champion and was given a gift of One Million Naira which in attendance, Rt. Hon. Satomi Ahmed Saleh, Member Jere Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
The initiative’s platform, Youth Mandate Group, was founded by Son to Senator Kashim Shettima, Ameer Shettima, Sadiq Bunu, and a group of young people from different parts of the country.
Mr Tinubu also toured the Maiduguri BATKSM call centre’s facilities, which was one of the programs undertaken by Shettima Kashim and the Youth Mandate Group.
While in Maiduguri, Mr Seyi Tinubu paid a courtesy call on the governor of Borno state, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, and HRH Abubakar Ibn Umar Garba El -Amin El-Kanemi, the Shehu of Borno, and congratulated him on giving out his daughter’s hand in marriage.
Mr Tinubu applauded the group’s efforts for putting a positive impact on citizens’ lives, which gives the young people a renewed hope that, under Tinubu-Shettima’s purposeful leadership, all and sundry will witness the country thriving to attain its full potential.
