93o3kennm1981611413327069210 With an appraisal of 7.1 million voters registered in Lagos, the private pro-tinubu denomination took its southwest crusade back to the centre of excellence.
The sixth stop of the Bola Tinubu 4 President 2023 support group's roadshow, took the faction to Ikorodu division, known as Nigeria's 12th largest city.
The waterbed region went agog on the 28th of January 2023, as the campaign strength of the group, playing music and distributing colourful souvenirs was felt massively.
Ikorodu division, which is made up of Igbogbo Baiyeku, Imota, Ijede, Ikorodu North, Ikorodu West and Ikorodu LG was lengthened out and thoroughly cruised by the group on a Saturday that saw the first rain downpour in 2023.
Like comparable experiences in Ojo, Bariga, Oshodi, Isolo and Somolu provinces, residents and business owners in Ikorodu were soul-lifted in excitement, as the 2023 presidential election draws near (to a crescendo on February 25th).
They extensively sounded the alarm for residents who are eligible voters but have yet to possess their PVCs to do so.
Speaking with Ikorodu News Network (INN) at the palace of the Obateru of Egbin kingdom, Mr Fola Tinubu, DG - Vice-chairman, disclosed the faction's cravings to reach 6 other regions dispersed across southwest Nigeria before the election.
According to Fola Tinubu, with 7.1 million registered voters in Lagos state, the organisation returned to the state, clamouring for more dwellers to take advantage of the open window provided by INEC.
He continued, "If we can ascertain over 4 million voters from our loyal party base, it will give victory to all our flag-bearing candidates from the state to the national level".
Channelling his remarks of appreciation to the Obateru of Egbin Kingdom, Fola Tinubu urged the king to ensure that youths with PVC do not play football on election day, rather they should put their cards to use.
"Kabiesi, this time around, we must make sure that our people play an active part in the electoral process to vehemently support all our hardworking candidates".
"It is our sixth stop so far in the roadshow which started in the 3rd quarter of 2022, and we've has alighted Ondo, Ekiti, Osun and Ogun states, we look forward to reaching other regions before the elections" Fola Tinubu asserted
HRM, Oba Adeoriyomi Oluwasesan Abudul-Akeem, Obateru of Egbin Kingdom, in his statements, explained that all the kings across the division held a meeting with Governor Sanwo-Olu at the state house, and they resolved to make sure that out of the 7.1 million registered voters, they're aiming to gain over 5 million.
According to HRM, "On a personal note, I've been an enthusiastic follower of Bola Tinubu since 2002".
Kabiesi continued, "As far as my kingdom and household are concerned, it is APC all the way".
"I've also reached out to all the wards with the support that should aid their voting process" He added.
The Obateru of Egbin Kingdom has been on the throne for 13 years.
Receiving the group, the king was also chaperoned by his Olori and chiefs.
It was gathered that the denomination was also received by the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, HRM, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, who has always hurled his support behind the presidential ambition of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
