Hon. Ogunbela, an Assistant Director for Voters education at the Independent Campaign Council (ICC) in Ikeja Lagos, told Ikorodu News Network (INN) that party members without PVC are not qualified to be at the polling booths.
According to him, Anyone without a permanent voters card has disenfranchised his/herself from having a voice in shaping the system of governance.
Stating that Voters should ensure to know their polling venue before Election day to prevent them from walking around aimlessly, Hon. Ogunbela expanded that voters should also embark on the mock accreditation exercise of voters to test the functionality of the Bi-Modal voter accreditation system (BIVAS) ahead of the 2023 general election.
He continued, “The Bi-Modal system affirms the face and thumbnail of the voters which would prevent another individual from voting with another person’s accreditation”.
“Everyone must take advantage of the process presented today for them to curb complaints of a failed system tomorrow” Hon. Ogunbela asserted.
Alhaji Sulaimon Ibrahim, harmonizing the Arewa community in Ikorodu North LCDA, notified Ikorodu News Network (INN) that his group is set to vote for all APC candidates come 2023 general elections.
