On the 7th of February 2023, Ikorodu federal lawmaker, Rep. Babajimi Benson MHR, joined the wife of Lagos Governor, Dr Mrs Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu to speak on the Sensitisation for Female Professionals and Stakeholders towards Voters Education and Citizenship Participation.
According to Hon. Jimi Benson, in his social media page, the 2-hour session was centred around the use of BVAS (Biomodal Voter Accreditation System) benefits, acquiring PVC and opting for the right party and candidates.
Explaining further, Rep. Benson said, “At the event, I reiterated the need for female political loyalists to move from door-to-door in canvassing votes for the All Progressives Congress, our APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Senatorial, House of Representatives and the State House of Assembly candidates”.
