Propelling cosmetologists to great heights, the unique nelly academy marked her 7th convocation ceremony on the 5th of March 2023.
Held at its institution’s space in Igbodu axis of Ijede LCDA (in Ikorodu), radiant 5 graduands were certified after 6 months of consecutive training on beauty.
The graduands successfully passed with distinction; Professional ethics/public relations, Marketing (cosmetics/services), Sterilization/foundation, Production of cosmetics (organic and inorganic), and Facial treatment.
Body massage/body exfoliation and skin polishing, Art of make-up (occasion make up and theatre makeup), Head tie design (Gele), Pedicure and manicure, Nail art, Hair making, Wig making and maintenance, and use of English and public speaking.
The program, which featured a product exhibition made by outgoing students, blended entertainment and dance for parents of graduands present at the ceremony.
The graduands are; Mrs. Bridget Eghorghon Olabode, Miss. Moshood Kehinde Ayomide, Mohammed Fidousi Omoreke, Miss. lbrahim Hafsat, and Agbaje Bsther Ayobami.
Speaking to guests, parents and students at the convocation ceremony, Princess Scholastica Ezuma Chinyerem, Principal of UNAL School of cosmetology, explained that the institution is a special school for youth and housewives who want to be skilful and financially independent.
According to her, Cosmetology as one of the trade subjects approved by the federal ministry of education has come to stay, for girls, women and men all who want to look beautiful, smart and financially independent.
She encouraged guests and parents in attendance to spread the gospel of cosmetology, adding that it’s the best trade subject in the world.
Expressing her 100% assurance on the skillset of her students, Mrs Ezuma urge parents of the graduands to always support them morally and financially.
The chairman of the occasion, the Proprietor of Uncle Bayus School, thanked Princess Ezuma, in his speech, crediting her for setting the pace in the cosmetic industry.
He urged UNAL to continue establishing ground and touching lives for jobless youths to stay away from all forms of social vices.
Furthermore, Prince Daniel Ameachi Ezuma, special guest and husband to the Principal, urged parents, students and guests, to keep their eyes and ears close to the institution, explaining that cosmetology would eventually become a full-fledged course in tertiary institutions.
He further congratulated the graduands, wishing them a prosperous career ahead.
Each graduand later took turns in appreciating the school, parents and guardians for making their quest for professionalism in the school of beauty a success.
