3993j3jen3m2691999000360781365 Former Lagos State Local Government Service Commission Chairman, Alhaji Basorun Babatunde Tajudeen Rotinwa has lauded the peaceful aura experienced in the ongoing Gubernatorial and State House Of Assembly elections in the Ikorodu division.
Basorun Rotinwa, President of the Exclusive Club in Ikorodu, also got excited with the turnout of voters, especially youths partaking in the electoral process by exercising their civic rights.
Speaking to Ikorodu News Network (INN) after casting his vote at polling unit 055 Oke-Ota Ona (Grammar school area), Alhaji Rotinwa said, "the turnout of voters is remarkable and the overall polling process is peaceful so far".
"The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials came very early to make preparations, that's why we're having a smooth procedure, and I give kudos to them".
Basorun Rotinwa further appealed to residents still waiting in line to exercise their civic rights to be patient, asserting that with perseverance everyone will cast their votes and get the declaration of the eventual result.
He was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Adeola Rotinwa, who also voted.
