Accepted fondly as the godfather of print media in Ikorodu, Prince Ganny Awobajo opened his doors of history to the newly launched INN media online TV channel.

The legendary news columnist granted free talk access to the fast-surging media entity at his residence in the Odonla axis of Ikorodu.

With a career spanning over 5 decades, Awobajo detailed his illustrious and pioneering story to Ikorodu News Network’s INN-House producer, Eromona Michael on the 10th of April 2023.

Hailing from the Odonla Royal family, Prince Ganny Awobajo explained his early days return to Nigeria in the late 70s to set the pace in a relatively deserted waterbed region of Ikorodu.

From the establishment of the iconic Providence Ikorodu News on August 1983, Awobajo explained how his media direction subsequently gave birth to the emergence of other news agencies across the division.

The Chief Publisher, gave his in-depth insight on the infusion of social media in the dissemination of information, still asserting the relevance of print media.

Furthermore, Awobajo emphasized the aftermath of the just concluded 2023 general elections in Nigeria, underscoring the expectations of citizens on the incoming administration.

In closing, Awobajo capped the interview session by detailing reasons why Ikorodu region should provide the next Governor of Lagos State come 2027.
